Delivery of Nick Scali Order
**This is a premium service where the items you have purchased are assembled, delivered and installed in your preferred position in the room of your choice in your home.
**Furniture is more often large and delicate.
**There are many procedures in the delivery process that must be followed to ensure a quality, reliable, secure and efficient service.
**As a result, delays may occur during deliveries as a result of any extra time that may be required to install the furniture.
**Our delivery teams will leave all packaging behind to enable our valued clients to play a part in the recycling of these plastic and primarily cardboard items.
**Please note that all initially supplied booking dates are tentative only, and are not guaranteed.
**If you have provided us with your mobile number, our delivery team will update you on the arrival and the delivery of your furniture via SMS.
**Two days prior to your delivery, we will SMS the delivery information to your mobile phone.
**If all the information is correct, you will only need to text back ‘OK’.
**If there are any details that are not correct, or you wish to change your delivery date, please call our Dispatch Department on 1300 880 370.
**If you are unsure whether a delivery date has been arranged, please contact your store where the purchase was placed, or call our Dispatch Department on 1300 880 370.
**Please note, due to the nature of imported goods, there may be some delays in our ability to deliver the product.
Installation Fees of Nick Scali Order
**Delivery, assembly and installation services comprise delivery of the products to the nominated address, assembly of the products at that address and the placing of the products into position. Installation does not include any fixing of any product to a wall.
**Fees for delivery, assembly and installation to residential premises within the metropolitan area of the metropolitan store from which products are ordered or within 20km of the store from which products are ordered if not within a metropolitan area. If delivery outside the metropolitan area or outside the 20km radius is required, additional out of area fees apply. Nick Scali does not deliver to some locations; see staff for details. For these locations, clients must arrange their own delivery by an appropriate professional carrier; box trailers or utes cannot be used. Delivery fees apply for commercial quantities, on application.
**Fees for delivery, assembly and installation at residential premises, for all products, excluding lounges, marble dining tables and bedding, is capped at $295/metro and $320/non-metropolitan if all products are purchased at the same time and are delivered in one delivery. If any item(s) are unavailable for delivery at that time, individual item delivery fees will apply.
**Fee based on combined number of seats on each order. An Ottoman is considered 1 seat as part of a lounge order.
**Fee per item or combination, as listed. Fees for delivery, assembly and installation of bedding are capped at $220/metro and $240/non-metropolitan per delivery.
**Fee excludes concrete, marble and large timber or zinc dining tables greater than 70kg.
How To Claim A Warranty Against Defects
**To claim under these warranties against defect , the Purchaser:
**must cease using the product immediately after the defect appears; and
**must notify Nick Scali within 7 calendar days after the defect appears;
**provide Nick Scali a copy of the original Sales Order or tax invoice.
**To make a claim, you can lodge a service ticket on this website or telephone our service department of Nick Scali Ltd (Triniti 2, 39 Delhi Road, North Ryde NSW 2113) on 1300 880 370 and follow the prompts.
**Once a claim has been lodged with our service department, Nick Scali will assess your claim, and respond within 10 business days.
**The Purchaser must bear the expense of making the claim, and the cost of all freight, house calls, labours and other items.
**These will be charged to the Purchaser at standard Nick Scali rates.
Responsibility For Returning Nick Scali Goods
**You are responsible for returning the goods to Nick Scali at your expense in the circumstances which you have picked up the goods or agreed upon by you or a Nick Scali representative.
**However, if the item is faulty and/or the cost to return, remove or transport the goods will be significant to you and you have paid any delivery/service expenses in full, then Nick Scali must arrange for the goods to be collected from you, within a reasonable time and at the expense of Nick Scali.
Exeptions To Guarantees
**Consumer guarantees do not apply if you:
**received what you asked for but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it;
**misused a product in any way that caused the problem; or
**knew of, or were made aware of, the faults before you bought the product.
